Hi there again, After the success of my L-plates, I wanted to make some P-plates for my upcoming mod. However, the P-plates won't show up. Have I done something wrong? I want to get my first release coming up tomorrow. Any help will be appreciated. Again, I want to thank torsion for help with my L-plates!
Anyway, I think it is conflicting with my L-plates. If it is, then I will have to rename the P-plates. however, I've tried everything with no success.
Try copying everything that your L plates mod did but go throught the file and change the materials folder and all others to P plate instead of L plate including the dds file if it has one.
All the programs I use don't save into dds, and i did exactly what you said. However, the P-plates don't show up, only the L's. You can see it for yourself here
Honesty this is about the extent of my skinning skills, i only started the other day. Somebody will help you soon.
Improperly packaged... (folder structure wrong for mods - didn't we just talk about this?) Can't check for conflicts if you don't upload everything...
Yeah, I know. Again, still learning. Didn't know I packaged it properly until now. Thanks! Again, I will give you credit in my upcoming mod!
Yeah, I just didn't use my eyes (or see) properly. By the way, can i use your profile picture on the credits graphic for my mod? After all, you helped me get part of my mod up and running, and I thank you for that.
No reason to go that far - I just gave you some small pointers. Most modders who feel compelled to post credits just do so like the Overview here. When it comes to packaging and working on mods - here's what I recently told another modder: http://www.beamng.com/threads/how-to-create-custom-gauges.28611/#post-422889
