Hey, can you maybe work on better thread titles? Maybe make ones that give an indication of what you want to talk about.

Specifically for you, never. Part of the development plan is to alter the flow of time around you so that BeamNG's development will freeze right before a really awesome feature is implemented. The really cool part is that around this time everyone who isn't you recieves free completed copies of BeamNG.

    Um... Okay

I'm also curious about this, many dev teams set an estimate as to when they will have their work complete, however it is not a deadline and isn't a "must release" on date. It's probably within 2016 or later. Many more vehicles are planned as well as maps and gameplay and that takes lots of time.

Love this game but can't see it ever being complete. People will loose interest after waiting so long, something else will come out and this'll gradually die off. I'd love to be proved wrong though.

I would have made that exact same statement 6 months ago but I'm going to take the high and positive road on this. The guys who cooked up the beam/node theory to make
realistic soft body vehicle damage have a passion that in my opinion must be supported and nurtured. I decided in retrospect and some very grateful forethought, that these
guys read these forums and regardless of who or what you think they are made of, they are above all human beings. Sure, venting frustration is to be expected and this
program has a much different and unique development flow than most people are used to. I think people need to understand first and foremost that this isn't a regular
development cycle for a game AT ALL. It is an experimental soft body physics technology that is also being tuned into a game at the same time.

In the future I'm going to try my damnd'est to think before I speak regarding the well being of the BeamNG concept and refine my frustrations so they are as
constructive as possible and never give the developers any reason to abandon or sell off the magic and fun this program is.

Please remember, THIS IS NOT A NORMAL STYLE GAME DEVELOPMENT PROCESS.

I know this probably doesn't stand for anything but, the steam store says release is Q1/2015

i'm going to imagine that's when they would like to get beamng available to buy on steam, instead of just having people buy it from fastsprings and then get a steam key

I've been throwing around 2017 as the date I feel like this game will be finished but sometimes i even think that is too early. This is a massive project and as of yet isn't even a game yet. I say enjoy what we have and just be patient. The game will be finished eventually and when it is it will hopefully be one of the best racing/driving games in existence.

My vision for this based on intro videos and blurbs I've read early on about this game is that we will be in a sort of open world thing and we can participate anyway we want. Some will race, some will just cruise, some will try to restore vehicles, some will work as safety crews on race tracks, stuff like that. No idea how it will all work but that's something we might end up seeing far down the road maybe not even until 2018-2019.
