Uploaded by the devs for anyone interested
this might be just a tad bit challenging to run
Finally the game looks like it came out in 2019 and not 2009
Performance should be quite close to what you have been used to actually, as your GPU is doing the same kind of work, in a different way.
Actually these new materials can be faster, in certain material setups, than the classic ones. There will be more details in the upcoming documentation for those interested in the benefits of this (aside the quality jump)

Small Island with Burnside at High Settings
Average framerate is about the same
Ah thats good. Atleast it doesnt explode everyones pc
This looks incredible but I'm wondering if what you've shown in the video is all that we're going to see in 0.23 or do you have even more features and effects that are still in development that are also going to release in 0.23?
The new gridmap by the looks of it.
More realism + Easier render = Much more fun
I'm curious about the impact of the new "Ultra" setting, the lighting looks fantastic.
Are we just going to ignore the new gridmap in the video? At about 00:54 in when they're showing off the t-series, look closely at the background
And at 0:58 too
I actually thought this wouldnt look as good, but hot damn thats amazing
"must be modern or it bad"
OOoooooh nice I really hope it's this version's map remaster, the current one just started to get a little boring to me, and God knows how many hours I drove there
I mean, he's not wrong. It's refreshing to see the game with a much nicer aesthetic so that it adds to the immersion.
I wonder if with PBR automation cars will look nicer because right now they look kinda ugly in BeamNG compared to in Automation.
No all I’m saying is the game doesn’t look bad anymore. It looks great.
Are we one step closer to global illumination?
These small, incremental but regular updates are really what keeps me coming back to this game. I'm optimistic for what this game will become eventually.
