BeamNG.drive physics totally sucks, it's not even like in the movies:

GTA V so much better... BeamNG just a rock star wannabe...

*Yeah, this is me mocking GTA V for their retarded physics. Waiting for a physics mod before I get the PC version.

i cant even with that 1st video, dont need to see the second...I dunno, it looks so much more arcade-y than IV, IV seemed nice and heavy and weighted, this shit looks so ridiculous....what, when you hit a brick wall, gravity turns off? looks silly....still prolly a fun game, i have NEVER even touched ANY version of GTAV, so i dunno what I am missing. I never get aboard the hype train on anything, so I am sure after 2 or 3 years, i might pick it up lol

Played on PeasantStation long ago, can confirm, cars and physics don't get along too well. Also they have bricks for suspension.

I thought I'd put a fine print there for my own safety, you shouldn't stretch a joke too far. :p

Haha, yeah. And you can rotate the car in the air, what's up with that?!

1440p has less compression on Youtube. If you render a 720p video at 1440p, it won't be compressed as much and will look better than a video uploaded at 720p.

IMO GTA V is an entirely different game and I'd rather the physics be fun than realistic.

GTA IV had good (okayish) physics, and was pretty fun (in my opinion much "funner" than GTA V). So I don't see the link between fun and bad physics, at all. And I can't see how a stunt could be satisfying when it's so easy you don't need to put effort into it.

The difference in GTA V is that in that game you don't need to know anything about cars or how driving is connected to physics, you barely need to brake before a turn, you don't need to be aware of weight shift of the car, don't need to be concerned about losing grip, don't need to plan your jumps so that your landing is good (because you can just turn the car in the air, and landing on the side won't make you lose control of the car). It's like GTA IV car handling for 3 year olds. :p

They took away the challenge to please (I know this sounds rude) the noobs and unskilled ones, those that don't understand the concept of braking before a turn and turn the oposite way when the car slides. And that ruined it for me. Not saying I'm such a pro, but I know the theory behind technical driving. And driving without the physics factors will bore me to death.

So yeah, it's basicly just a mystery for me how anyone can find GTA V driving fun. I just can't understand it.

GTA5 driving I do find fun. But a mod to restore it back to GTA IV driving would be much appreciated, IV's driving was certainly far more fun than V, its just that doesnt prevent V from being fun to me.

Yeah I loved the shit out of GTA IV's driving physics.

The only problem I have with GTA 5's physics is mounting kerbs. They don't throw you off or cause a big bump in your suspension, the car simply snaps to the height of it and keeps going unless you're doing around 5mph. Other than that I think the physics are perfectly fine, it suits the same.
