I'll start:
The SBR4 and K-series are the results of an ill-fated partnership between ETK and Hirochi. They wanted to build a shooting-brake sports car combining ETK's powerful engines and Hirochi's handling prowess. Several significantly different prototypes were made and the project was going along smoothly...

...until it was time to fit the engine. Nobody could agree where (Hirochi wanted it in the back, ETK wanted it in front), so the two companies parted ways and developed their own cars, reusing small bits and pieces of the prototypes here and there (steering wheels, interior trim, sections of the frame/unibody, etc.)
