Beamng Update

So I'm new to Beamng. I've gotten used to the games. Finally learned out how to download mods. But how do I update Beamng?

Updates are automatically installed via steam.

Or did you obtain the game elsewhere

 

If it's on steam, it will auto update. I recommend steam, you'll get updates the fastest. If you don't have steam, you can either re download, or if that gives you the same version, you'll need to wait until the update is posted by the devs. Most people use steam, so it might take a while for the devs to post the non-steam version.

for reference, the current version is 0.4.1.0

Then it auto updates, like every other game on steam. You're good to go.

 

I bought the game off of the beamng.drive website and I downloaded it off of humblebundle. Humblebundle was on steam and I was wondering if there was any way I could get the update off of steam since there is a link on steam with humblebundle. ( I tried the exe.update thing- couldn't find it and tried redownloading the game but it was only the 4.0.5 version).
