BeamNG will not start at all

So this happened after I updated my AMD drivers on my RX480 to the latest 18.1.1
Iv'e also contacted BeamNG support, but i'm not sure if i'll get a reply during the weekend so I decided to create a thread, also if this issue gets solved here it will be visible for anyone else to see with the same problem.

Hoping someone can help with this as iv'e tried everything:
-Clean reinstalled the game.
-Clean reinstalled my drivers.
-Rolled back to old drivers then back to new.
-Tried opening both 64 and 32 bits of the game.
-Tried verifying integrity on steam.
-Removed BeamNG documents folder.
-Tried updating windows.

This is the only game that doesn't start up too oddly enough, it doesn't even appear in task manager 'nor does it open the launcher, steam simply says "running" for a few seconds then closes and syncs the game.

The only thing that did work was rolling the game back to 0.4.0.6 through steam, of which then it opened just fine, but i'd rather play the latest version of course.

Hi, sorry about that.
I actually can't run the launcher to even get the support option, I contacted support through the wiki link.

 

Last thing was a driver update for AMD, which as mentioned I tried rolling back and clean reinstalling the drivers.
Iv'e checked malwarebytes and windows defender which is the only antivirus I have, couldn't find anything.
I just tried starting steam as admin but that didn't help.

Okay my bad, just tried disabling windows defender real time protection which got the game to open.
But I don't know how to exclude BeamNG from windows defender.
