Something completely custom built for the sport. A drag modified muscle car cannot beat one of those top fuel things.

No,I know it,but top fuel drag cars are not based on car platforms, they are just bicycles on steroids.

I don't think it's possible to keep honda civics reliable when you put massive turbo on it.

But won't metal slow it down?
Neither are Muscle cars with a huge supercharger.

Sure, but it'll stay together at high speeds and not fall to pieces.

What about Carbon fiber? You'd think super cars would be used more often.

Supercars are flismy plastic pieces of crap. I went to a lambo dealership, and I worried that the cars were gonna fall apart if I breathed on them.

Yeah. Where do you live? The US. For some reason, I like american cars, but only a select few. The rest are plastic garbage.

The thing about Drag is, it gives us +Rep, when we know A good car needs to turn. I prefer Sport cars to Supercars, they feel like they have more personality. Like Alfas. Back OT, What's better Turbocharge, Or supercharge?

    Turbos are much better

It is possible to keep them reliable if you go with proline engines.

I'm guessing the muscle car people are in the right here. Lots of power over a broad RPM range, RWD, simple, durable designs that tend to be built for decades on end, so have lots of aftermarket support. Older models are also, allegedly, fairly easy to work on. It's hard to go wrong with the usual suspects: Mustang, F-body, and pretty much any American FR from about 1961 to 1975. Pickup trucks are tough and tend to come with large, easily-tuned engines, but can suffer from excessive weight and massively nose-heavy distribution thereof (i.e. rear traction problems), so you'll have to decide for yourself if it's worth it, especially since many smaller, lighter vehicles can be found or retrofitted with the same engines and with sufficiently durable driveline components.

Don't forget the torque.Muscle cars have tons of torque because of their big displacement.
