    Hey guys,

I am wondering - there are mods that I can download from BeamNG directly (I guess Steam Workshop Mods) and there are mods that can be downloaded separately from different websites.

    What are you guys using?

I am looking for the "best" central place to check out and download mods.

    Thanks a ton!

    BeamNG is a BLAST!

The only website you should really use is https://www.beamng.com/resources/. Most other websites consist of low quality mods or stolen stuff. The only other place I could think of would be some private discord servers, but those mods aren't usually the highest quality either.

The mods you can download in-game are from the BeamNG repository, also accessible via https://beamng.com/resources/. They are not from the Steam Workshop. This official way of getting mods is the best way to get them. There are other websites out there, but they offer very few proper mods. Most of the mods there are directly pulled (stolen) from this website or they consist out of so-called meshslaps - shitty, low-effort ripped content from other games, edited to a bare minimum to make them somewhat compatible with BeamNG.Drive. The only place outside of the official repository you want to be is probably https://www.beam-monsters.com/. Other than that, stay away from third-party websites. They don't deserve the advertisement money they generate from your visits.

Gotcha, thanks a lot! I'm very happy that the in-game repository is the same as beamng.com/resources. That's all I needed. Thank you so much fellas! :) I'm off to the tracks now!
