    Eh all,

I have an xbox 360 controller and would like to know if anyone has figured out the best settings to be able to drive good. Right now I can't get past 50-60kph without sliding all over the place from very sensitive steering via the joysticks...

    Thanks

Try to slowly accelerate and try the SBR4 or Sunburst, they are easier to control because they have electronic stability control.

i'd say just Practice or learn to drift lol, years of playing Forza have taught me some control with the standard 360 controller. heck i even played assetto corsa with a 360 controller. kind of need to learn to only put slight inputs on the joysticks, i can do it by habbit now but i could imagine it'd be hard to do. also i find the ESC and ABS to be rather annoying and make me crash allot more then when i disable them, the newer Pessima without stability control is fun to slide at high speed lol

If the steering is too sensitive, you may want to tailor the deadzones to your specific gamepad (older gamepads have bigger deadzones, maybe even bigger than the generic deadzones we provide by default). That should prevent your vehicle from skidding everywhere in a straight line.

After deadzone is sorted out, if you cannot steer easily, try increasing the "linearity" value for steering.

Other than that, it's a case of "practice, practice, practice" :) BeamNG.drive is not an arcade game, so the only driving aids you will find are electronic stability control in the more modern cars, as well as arcade gearbox for all cars.
