I use these haha. not computor speakers but at £120 second hand you get a lot of power for the cost, they also look awesome.

If you want to spend a bit much, you can point to Bowers & Wilkins 686, 450€ both speakers, but you need the ampliefier too, something like Rotel RA-10 that cost around 380€, and with that, you need a good Audio card too, the creative Sound Blaster Z costs around 95€.
With that you're ok for forever., but you would spend a lot.
So, if you want to pay less and have a good quality, Creative Gigaworks T40 series 2 will work good, i have got them, they work pretty well, and cost not too much, around 150€
But you still need a good audio card to apprecciate it.

My speakers are lovely, but they are very old.
They are a set of Bose 301 Series iV's powered by a Rotel ra980bx amp.

But I think that I would get a Logitech Z506 if I were to buy a new audio system. They are a cheap, relatively good quality 5.1 surround sound system.

Mission 732i small speakers and Mission 702e Tower speakers thats what I run :)

although the entire setup with amplifier is about £600

    £200 for the Amp
    £400 for the speakers...

but I got both set of speakers free of charge thanks to my cousin :D
