Mostly when engine's take a certain impact they tend to stall or die out. And ive done a few crash tests and the engine will still be running after hitting a wall head on at 40+. Or landing on the engine after not landing a half pipe jump, landing on the nose of the vehicle.
Perhaps engines should have a rough time running or idling after taking damage? This would be a neat feature.
