You can enable and disable each features in:
"Documents\BeamNG.drive\mods\sirenmod\config\settings.json"
Just look for the feature you want to disable and replace true by false

Hey! I just wanna say I love this mod, but I think it might genuinely be broken. The reason I say this is every time I load the game with the mod installed, I get the error message "FATAL VEHICLE EXCEPTION. PLEASE RELOAD THE VEHICLE." I've got no other sound mods installed, but this one just seems to break the game.

EDIT: Never mind, I figured it out. It would seem I had neglected to fully unpack the files needed to use the mod.

Double Edit: Though, this now begs to ask: If one wanted to change the horn sound of a car, how would they go around to doing so?

 

I don't understand your double edit what do you want do to exactly ? Change the horn sound ?

 

Let's say I want the Burnside to use a horn sound effect that isn't as ridiculous as the default. All I'd have to do is change the Burnside .ogg file, yeah?

 

I love this mod though I changed the siren for the firetruck, police car even the suv/van, and the foreign police car,and I was curious if you can somehow add car alarms when the car off (Yes I saw you asking if anyone would want it, which you should), and this is a big if but could you make it where, when you crash a police car, that it makes like a death cry in the siren? Which here's a link of what I'm talking about but it starts at 1:27 when the police makes a death cry. : ...It would being amazing if it's possible but thanks if you tried.

yoggle System Console bind and press the key > what does the end mean ??

 

bind the key --> assign the key
press it --> press it when you are in game

 

I just installed it properly, put the lua in the folder, put the zip in the mods, restarted the game, and every vehicle I load up says "fatal vehicle error, please reload". Did I do something wrong?

 

What is the binding for the horn located under? Can't find it.

No sound scraping on concrete

 

test with no modded car and verify that your sound is not too low

 

Cleared cache and the blinker sounds no longer work.

 

The cache is not supposed to change anything to my mod. It's strange...
