Although this game is in Beta and not released OFFICIALLY on Steam yet, just uses the application, it's still better than this game, Ocean City Racing! Keep It Up Guys! Congrats! Although this doesn't have MUCH to do with BeamNG, I'm saying it is WAY BETTER than that game. That's it. I DON'T MEAN IN A NEGATIVE TONE, JUST TO SET RECORD STRAIGHT. Past people have argues with me before and crap. Post on different thread, don't post it at all, etc. Don't care. If you are here to complain, then you don't have to view this video or this thread or my profile or ANYTHING related to me. Just go somewhere else. But if you want to see how BeamNG blows this game out of the water, then come and watch! And I'm glad you're here! https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ezWckOmcteI
Okay... They're completely different games. Don't really think they should be compared to each other. One uses Unreal Engine 3 and rigid body physics. One uses Torque3D with a custom soft-body physics engine. One has actual races with AI, and the other is just free-roam with a few scenarios. One is also much more taxing on your hardware than the other.
There are some similarities. Both available on Steam. TO CONSUMERS, both open world racing games. Both have a variety of cars. Both with right tools, can be modded. Both have scenarios (aka races or time trials or navigating through lopps etc.). Both have A.I (BeamNG's A.I is broken for now.). A map like this could be created for BeamNG. BeamNG also has an upcoming campaign. Which I'm guessing will have races, with multiple opponents on different tracks. Like Ocean City Racing. You are right with the differences. But they aren't TOTALLY separate games.
