I think someone should make an improved trailer that is wider (especially the pillars), Make the ramp longer, and make a boxed version of the trailer.
...Yes, which is why I removed them in the Jbeam, and now cars can pass through the model for them, but I want the model to match the Jbeam before I release it, and I'll probably also make the trailer longer and with a longer ramp.
If you want something badly enough, you'll teach yourself. There are PLENTY of tutorials on using Blender, and the tutorials available in the wiki are easy to follow.
I don't think this thread is worded well, It should read something like: "Beamng should include more different trailer options in order to increase versatility of the trailer hitch feature." The way it is worded now seems too much like a demand, and not enough like a helpful suggestion. The main point is valid, Eventually, a wider variety of trailers should be added to the roster. That way the game could take advantage of the D35's towing capacity better. If you truly can't wait until the Developers get around to making some more trailers, it may be a good idea to learn modding or find a modder who feels the same way as you do.
Yes, We do need 2 trailers. Not one. A short, normal width one, and a wide, longer one for bigger loads. Maybe some people want small trailers, while others want big? Not everyone is hauling a D series? Maybe they want small for a covet? BTW on both the trailers they need a little guard at the front of it so the car dont slide into the tow vehicle
I agree but even the current trailer is a bit narrow, a covet doesn't even fit and has a hard time getting up the rampand if they make a guard it should be an optional piece... just in case we want to slam into the tow vehicle... or replace it with a giant wedge and turn the trailer into a ramp...
there is a mod pack that adds some different d series and trailers like a goose neck longer and shorter trailers but its outdates
