I'm trying to make a mod that requires me to import a .dae file into Blender.

However everytime I open a .dae it crashes my blender instantly.

I meet requirements for blender, I had 30gb of ram to spare last time I tried opening it. I deleted blender and reinstalled it.. if I open blender on it's own it opens eventually and seems fine.. but I cannot open a .dae file from BeamNG inside it.

What gives? I spent a good 60-90 minutes troubleshooting and found nothing but useless help anywhere. I figure maybe enough people on here use blender who can tell me what's up and help me out here.

which file are you importing? some, (IIRC the barstow's is one) have a weird syntax error somewhere in the file that crashes blender.

Check in Blender console which line of the DAE has a syntax error, delete that line and try again, should work.

I switched to Version 3.1.2 of Blender as the file appears to have been created in this version????
I have this image, sorry for bad quality this was an absolute pain to get.
