Bolide loovers texture bug

So I have been messing with the bolide and I found this texture bug lying around on the Bolide.

Normal map??

I don't even know but this is a whole new level of nonsense.

any light on to why this happens?

 

Kind of what I figured since it is rather ugly in the shading department when looked at on an 80 degree angle [very white]

 

Is this going to be fixed or are we going to have this horrible buzz kill of a normal map lying around, Forever?

I'd love to know if it will and how hard it would/could be to fix.
