This is just interesting me. Almost every time you crash Bolide, the damage is limited to the front of the car, but the rear end of the car is almost always undamaged. Why?

It might be because you're crashing the front of it.

In all seriousness, if you think about it, it's simple physics. The Bolide is a mid engine car. There's a heavy chunk of iron behind the driver, and lots of reinforcement to bear the load. The front section is fairly strong since you need a rigid frame for the suspension mounting points but has to absorb the brunt of the crash force since it's at the very front. The cabin is mostly empty space, which compromises the Bolide's (or any car's) crash behaviour, which is why it tends to fold in on itself. With the majority of the impact force spent on wrecking the front half of the car, the stronger rear section gets away undamaged.

I'd go further into crumple zones, material engineering, inertia, and conservation of energy/momentum but I think it would roar over your head at 700km/h.
