Bored of beam ng after a short time

I bought beam ng a few days ago and was forced to downgrade to a bit older version that was without traffic. I wanted to have mods like the big beam ng youtubers and i am too bored of etc crashing into a tree or a building. What should i do to still play beam NG? i also wanted it because of the crash physics *sorry for my bad english

 

Why did you have to downgrade? I was under the assumption that all of the iGPU issues were fixed, as per the banner above. That was the only reason to downgrade that I know of.

since i am on directx 10 exept that my graphics card doesnt support direct x 11

I would advise you download some Config packs, spawn in a car and start modifying it to your liking. Then take it for a spin and tweak it. Set yourself challenges. There is a big rock in the way? Build something to crawl over it. You see the opportunity for a big jump? Tackle it with different cars and see how they hold up.

There's a bunch of possibilities.

Don't most youtubers link the mods they used in the description of their videos? If that is what got you started in the first place, you could check there to see what they are using directly.

 

That and you can pretend that other people are driving a car. There's so many possibilities.

 

well he can't, since he has no traffic. So that's one possibility less.

But honestly, somehow I must have filled my 1,095 hours in this game.

When I started playing back in the day I would just put in my 30 minutes each evening but at some point it clicked and the hours started to fly.

Set up scenarios, test different cars, set lap times. Just learning how each car handles and getting familiar with them is a ton of fun and super satisfying when you can get around a track unscathed or go 100+ through the Utah desert and not crash.

big youtubers generally use supercars and all that to lure people to watch their videos
as Sithhy said, BeamNG is a sandbox game. Just drive around, enjoy the engine sounds, set up police chases, spend days refining a setup for a car, all that good stuff

direct 11 Graphics cards can be purchased from places like eBay. i have had beamng running on a core 2 quad and a hd5850/ gtx 460 nicely,

#2: You are probably bored because you dont know all the possibilities.
