Took it upon myself to bring Bruckell's entry to the truck market into reality. The truck started life as a post apocalyptic/swat styled overlanding behemoth based on a barely generic 3rd Gen Ram. I ended up scrapping basically everything except the bodyshell and a couple aftermarket parts, but even those saw some modifying for them to be more presentable. Its got a lore variant of pretty much every engine available in the irl truck for its time period (03-08 i believe?), some parts stolen from chevys and fords so its not just a dodge with modified headlights(essentially what the stock variant of the original model wouldve been). Badging and engines from the bastion(including a mod engine), frame, suspension, diesel engines(retuned to match irl specs), transmissions(also retuned) from d-series. Technically a meshslap, but every last jbeam file has been modified to fit the mesh as best as possible. im in the process of learning jbeam(THANK YOU DEVS FOR THE BLENDER ADDON, IT HAS MADE IT SOMEWHAT UNDERSTANDABLE FOR ME) so as time goes on i will more than likely create fully custom jbeam for the body. too many planned addons to elaborate on, i'd have to type for HOURS, just wait for them to be shown off. what i can say is, PD, FD, EMT, DOT, trucking, like literally anything you can think of i probably though about and am trying to incorporate.
To be honest i wasnt expecting much enthusiasm from the community. Heres a wip teaser for the back. f350 bumper and f150 tails. the original tails were just too Dodge for my liking so im redoing the whole corner of the bedside. I'll probably rework the light design of the tails/make full on custom ones but i at least wanted the shape of factory ones. tailgate is probably gonna get a rework too cause its a bit bland in my opinion
Finally! A more modern truck! Hopefully this one gets finished (like everyone else is saying) since most attempts get abandoned from what I've seen. Would be cool to see the cummins engine/trans mod work on this if it gets finished and maybe some powerstroke and duramax engines. Either way, can't wait to see more!
I actually made some lore engines so mod dependencies arent a thing. i might do a powerstroke/duramax variant for the 2nd gen Brute if i ever get all my ideas finished on this one. Theres ALOT i have planned, and most of it will probably be in future updates. first release will more than likely just be the base truck with minimal addons just for the sake of releasing it
uploaded a teaser short to my youtube channel(forums doesnt like the link), its CaptainDangerGaming, same profile pic as on here brute drag pack vs bastion drag resulted in surprising results...the brute slower by 10mph in the 1/4 mile, but if you leave the line right, you get one hell of a wheelie and that 1st place trophy...
