Not a whole lot to add other than this... Just been really busy lately now the it has finally stopped snowing.
What, you mean like this? This rust is technically fake seeing as A. the hood is made of fiberglass and B. the body is made of Aluminium. The rivets, frame, and suspension are made of steel though, so they can rust I guess.
Well... I finally got some time to work on it today... modified Sithhy's model some for some more body types... this is the result so far (I didn't make all of these... just the two trucks... and that was only modification from what was already there so while this looks like massive progress... it was just easy to do)
I like how when you scroll through those screenshots it looks like upper part of Hummer gradually gets smaller and smaller Nice work btw. Are all of those bodystyles planned to be released at once or some will come first and others will be added later?
Umm... Well... I currently see no reason why they couldn't all be done at once... Essentially I will start with the Wagon which has the most body (and thus the most nodes) and then just chisel away nodes and beams for each body style. Everything else on the truck stays the same frame, suspension, and drivetrain wise, so I am currently not envisioning any problems with it. Edit: That being said, I got a bit more time to work last night and I basically made all the Node/Beam structures for all the different body types in one go... so there is your answer I guess.
sorry im just really fasinated by mod dev i kinds wanna see progress also i like to see how far they got sooo ya also stithy hasent posted anything about the mod in this month --- Post updated --- atv nice work on the bodys they look realistic
The month just about begun, so how many posts about the Hummer should I have by this point? And as for progress... Well, there isn't really any from my side. Been mainly waiting for atv_123 to have free time, so he can finish certain meshes on the Hummer that I wasn't able to finish (had a wrong approach to making them) and the main thing that is left now, is to UV unwrap all of the meshes... Which I need to learn how to
