Tiny update Kind of forgot to make this dash... Now the textures need to be made by Schumacher & it will be lookin' 11/10
Dude this is looking amazing so far and I'm really impressed, it looks awesome and is also looking like you're putting tons of detail into this. Wasn't this on hold for a while or is that something else I saw.
Every body type now has front doors... I know that doesn't seem like much, but I am aiming to let this truck be just as customizable as real in game content... and that means matching node names across multiple structures to allow for easy modding. This also means that I only need to create the doors once and attach them to only one body... the rest will just attach themselves So if you plan on modding this thing in the future... you won't need to go digging through mountains of files and what not... everything will be clearly documented in the files for what does what and how things are attached... you just need to come up with something creative to attach Next are the rear doors... Basically the same process as the front... but in the back (obvious statement is obvious)
I regret not following the development of this mod since the start. Right now I have a backlog of 57 pages worth of Likes to give...
Wellllll...... That's not how many configurations there are... that's just how many different bodys there are (and that's not even all of them, but the other one doesn't need doors, so its not in this little shot). I am not even sure honestly just how many different configurations there will be. Every time I show Sithhy an update to my progress he seems to come up with more... so only time will tell just how many different configs there will be to this thing. Then there will be the ability to configure it any way you wish with all the parts we provide.
haven't been watching this at all, because progress is relatively slow, this is a great mod though, looking forward to it!
And now every body type that has rear doors has rear doors! Again, I know this doesn't seem like much, but it was a lot of work to get all the doors to attach to the bodies correctly by syncing all the node names. Sounds easy in principle, but in practice, is just a lot of work... mostly just figuring out which node needs to be named what. Next I suppose would be the tailgate seeing as their are 5 body types that use the tailgate.
Would you consider a config with a DJ cabin in the rear bed (like the one with picture below)? Red Bull logo is optional Other than that, I think amount of configurations should be simple, so we won't get confused which one to drive at a time I hope I didn't ask this before
Mostly just fixing bugs caused by my typing... Nodes out of position somehow, things hitting things they shouldn't, beams connected where they aren't supposed to be, and worse, not connected to where they should be. It's important to do this every once in a while when doing a MASSIVE project like this... It helps from having to untangle a HUGE mess at the end rather than just fixing the few smaller mistakes as you go. Overall this gave it a slightly better driving experience as its just that little bit more stable. Oh... and just for kicks and giggles... thought I might bring back some nostalgia... (I'm not very good at matching scenery... but you get the point I guess)
Oh man... I'ma double post...don't come arrest me... I still have lots to do! Tailgates! Same story as before with all the other parts... matched node names so interchanging is easy! (Yes they are still red from when I changed the color for that picture yesterday... sue me)
