    Hi guys,

I am just messing around on the world editor getting used to it before I jump on to making an actual map and I've already noticed that the road editor and mesh road editor are very buggy (or incredibly finicky)... I am trying to get used to doing rounded corners and whilst very loose corners are okay-ish, tight corners just completely bug out on me and I was wondering if it's just me or if it's a problem generally and if there's a way around it or anything.

I have some screenshots of the texture going wrong and one of the road just disappearing and reappearing all on corners. There are some other issues too with this. I was testing the road very quickly and because of this bug it blew both tyres on the car as I drove along it.

The more points you have on the corner, the worse the effect is, to the point the road starts disappearing. Otherwise it's just the texture issue which is just annoying generally. Any suggestions to help fix and avoid this issue? Thanks.

This usually happens when the inner angle starts to overlap.
Since the road is deformed based on the center (not the inner part), you need to avoid overlapping.
Also, that many points are not a good idea, you should use 2, max 3 for that kind of curve.

Thanks for the help. I've been watching some tutorials and tip videos to get me started and they said that more points on corners (for road editor) make it better for AI, but clearly I've taken that too far. Other roads I tried did suffer from similar issues and the corners were not as tight as that and had fewer points, but I guess it's a case of getting used to it.

At least I now have a better idea of what does and doesn't work well and I know it's not a bug it's just me (I already suspected that though).

    Thanks again for the help.
