Building loses its texture when further away (Solved)

    This explains it pretty well. No other buildings or objects have this probelm.

    Does this only happen on some maps or does it happen in all maps?

    I believe then that's an issue with the map. Contact the author of that map.

    he is the author of that map.

    this is a LOD issue i believe. Scroll to the LOD part of this page, and it shoudl help. I dont know too much other than this

    Kinda already done that... It's me.

    Happening only with those "eca" buildings

    All textures are in right place and material.cs should be right as far as I know.

    Yeah it's something with LOD, but I have no idea how.

    Well, this fixed it for now: forceDetail 0


    I guess it's not right way to do it in the long run...

    The eca buildings use a common material that is shared among all shapes. You need to copy the levels\east_coast_usa\art\shapes\materials.cs "lod_vertcol" material and include it with your level. At least I'm pretty sure that's the issue.
