When colliding with other vehicles, i've noticed the tires tend to stick onto cars, especially the bumpers. My car with either get stuck on the car, or my car will be able to rip of the other car's bumper, but with it lodged in my tires and unable to spin.

    What do you thinks?

This has been a problem ever since the game came out and it has been slightly improved over the years but as of right now there is no way of fixing the sticky cars issue, the collision triangles right now have 2 sides, the sticky side and the normal side. I do not know why the sticky side exists but that is the main problem of why cars stick together and sometimes to other objects.

The "Sticky" side is "Sticky" because it isn't as thick in the collision box, meaning the inside portion of the panels can be penetrated at a low speed.

The good side is far thicker and should stop an approaching node around ~350km/h any faster and the car phases past it before the computer can communicate that it should collide rather than go through it.

But the bad side is thinner [~150Km/h] so like I said you can penetrate it going very slowly, it is like this to avoid limiting the creativity of the vehicle artists so the jbeam can be detailed and not have obnoxious gaps.

The other reason is the vehicular collision is not calculating edge detection which causes more bugs but keeps things running at a playable frame rate.

It is a constant battle between quality and playability, the physics engine is running at 2000hz [2000 physics frame updates per second], so you can see the challenge here.
