Alright, this car has 8 years so i think it's a great idea to remaster. Maybe devs have other plans for 0.33 or something, i don't know, but there was a 200bx remaster. Probably devs should remaster another car. I personally don't need more cars (just joking, i need cars from 50s and 70s) so i think it's great time for another remaster. If there still aren't plans for 0.33, well, burnside waits. Maybe in the update will come another burnside.

Would you care to go into more detail for exactly what you're lookin for in a Burnside remaster? Illustrations/photographs are also helpful for reference.

obviously new 3d model, but also for example coupe, liftback or station wagon version.
maybe also facelift or another burnside

We could also have a semi-automatic gearboxes like the Chrysler M6 Presto-Matic with I6 and I8 engines options, the Hy-Drive 3-speed and the automatic gearbox Hydra-Matic 4-speed with fluid coupling instead of a torque converter.
For the usage of the gearboxes :
    - Presto-Matic : Needs a clutch to put on 1st and 2nd gears, both divide in two ranges automated splitter like trucks. After selecting a gear, release the cluth pedals, the torque converter right behind the clutch will take the role of friction part. Like this, we can take off without the clutch pedal at any existent gear. Then accelerating, release the accelerator at higher speed, and with a lound mechanical sound, the gearbox swith automaticaly from low range to high range
with the following patern => 1st Lo - Hi, 2nd Lo - Hi.
P.S we need also the clutch pedal to put on reverse.

    - Hy-Drive 3-speed : It's simply a 3-speed manual gearbox with a torque converter instead of a friction clutch, we simply select the desired gear and take off. And we drive with only two pedals. No need to put more.

    - Hydra-Matic 4-speed : A four automatic speeds with a fluid coupling instead of a torque converter, resulting to not multiply the engine output as the torque converter does.
The shifting patern is the next : N - Dr1 - Dr2 - Lo - R or N - Dr - Lo - R. There's no Park position, instead we put on R to lock the gearbox once the engine stopped.
We put on "Dr" to drive normally, or we put on "Lo" to stay on the second gear, like a snow position (yes, "Lo" is an abussive language) and the "Dr2" that I wrote means there are two "Dr" positions divided in two triangles, put the gearbox and make it stay on 3rd gear. And if you want to get on 4th gear, we simply put the selector on "Dr1".

I found how does we use the Hydra-Matic in this video :

And as the Burnside is inspired of the DeSoto Firedome, we could have a pre-facelift and a facelift similar to the 1955-1959's equivalent in realife with redesigned hood, fenders and light, some fins etc.

    The pre-facelift.

    And the facelift :

If we want another Burnside, maybe it could be between 1930-40 and named as Gavril Burnside, because it seems to me that Burnside is (or was in the case it's discontinuited) a brand luruxy branch of Gavril, and the models of Gavril are often named with a B letter (Barstow, Burnside, Bluebuck or Bandit from Rigs of Rods).

The model from 1930 could be the Firedome Six, in this case named Gavril Burnside :

I think Burnside became independante in the 40s.

Oh !! And I forgot, we could have a Firedome Suburban configuration, wich is the named gave to the long wheel bases for the Firedomes :

As we can see, the long wheel base could have three benches to welcome nine passengers, and we could have the possibility in-game to remove the 2nd row bench to replace it by something else more luxurious equipments like a phone system from the early 50s, an inverted 2nd row bench with table and a fridge, a higher roof or a convertible frame like the Lincoln Cosmopolitan :
    1950VoitureprsidentielleLincoln.jpg

It could give it a presidential car look.
Or we can simply remove the 3rd row bench to put more cargo boxes, usefull for the career mode for delivery or taxi.
