Campaign levels switch to different, cinematic camera randomly - making car uncontrollable

So, I'm trying to play this... trying to find some game that's actually interesting... nothing more fun than blowing up cars, yay.

The "Senseless Destruction" campaign is seriously fun. But there are a few times where it gets very NOT-fun, because the camera is stuck ?? doing SOMETHING that seems like it ought to be doing that for playback, but not play-through! For example, on the Suspension level, I'm stuck looking head-on to the car I'm driving, controls reversed, incredibly hard to stay on-target as it swooshes under my camera angle and I have to re-learn how to drive the damn car each time.

In the "Bridge" level, halfway across the bridge I was teleported to an under-bridge view, aaaand of course I lose control and fall over the edge.

This seems like a troll game. "Haha, you think the only challenge is what's on the surface? Muahaha, now we randomly change camera angles, HAVE FUN!"

I thought the camera-angles-to-make-gameplay-difficult joke died with the Nintendo 64?

    Hello,

    Some cameras are meant.
For example in the suspension mission, so you can see how your suspensions are working.
This may change in the future tho.

On the bridge scenario, the camera should not randomly go down, unless your car actually fell down the bridge.

In the suspension, I'm supposed to have a head-on view of the front of the vehicle? That's... that's extremely not helpful for trying to drive the thing. Most of the challenge in this level is trying to keep the truck straight when the controls are inverted!

And yeah, on the bridge scenario, I was dead-on the middle of the bridge... uuunnnntill it flipped my camera under the bridge and I lost control as a result. hah. The bridge was swaying noticeably and I was fighting to keep the car centered, slow moving, maybe it thought it was falling, somehow?

Here's a video I just took of the bridge issue:

Reproduced twice - once, it wasn't recording - but I've never been able to get across without this happening. Just go slowly over the bridge and make corrections to keep it straight. Seems there's a trigger on the bridge to make it change the camera angle.

Finally, the one I couldn't remember the name... "Crawl", the one so bad that I just end up throwing my controller at the computer and giving up. This isn't fun at all, it's just mind-f*ckery. I'm here to have fun smashing up cars, presumably with a centralized, common control and camera scheme... not practice driving R/C cars with varying perspectives! Take a look at the video, here, my 2nd shot. The 1st shot I just drove off-screen and it just left me hanging... 2nd time, after I fell offscreen, it also just left me with a camera pointed at nothing, and the car I'm driving (??) off-screen.

I can't even get "Crawl" to end, so it's like... that's as broken as it comes, the game ends there. :(

edit: whoa, after I left the game idling, posted the video, finished this writeup, then came back to the game, it had given me a "3" and "good effort" and let me continue, finally! woooo onward :p
