Campaign "Training 6: Easy Circuit" - difficulty

    I've been trying to complete the Driver's Training campaign with 1000 points on each stage, but I'm having problems with the "Training 6: Easy Circuit" stage. At best, I reach 920 points or so (using controller).

    I checked a fairly old (2016) video where all the stages are completed with 1000 points. The car used in that video for Training 6 seems to be different from the car that is used now. Could it be that the car was changed sightly for the worse, but the time limit for getting 1000 points wasn't updated accordingly for this mission?
