Can a car run out of gas idling in BeamNG?

I know this sounds like a silly thing to ask, but I had to know if it was simulated or not. I know that you can run out of gas while driving around for a long time, but if you had a car in BeamNG with a full tank of gas and let it idle would it eventually run out of gas?

I've actually had left my computer on with beamng running (Healthy, right? fml.) And it actually had a decrease in fuel volume so yes, but it would take a very long time

Yes, but it would take hours upon hours.

I tried with the hypermiling scenario, and yes, it does run out of fuel just from idle.
