I am about to buy a logitech g29, but I dont want to buy a chair. I need my laptop to work with it, so i need a way to get the pedals and wheel to work with my current seat and desk. My problem is that I sit high, my table is 35" from the ground, and I am looking to mount the pedals on a beam thats 8.5" off the ground. IMG_16601.jpg I need to put the pedals on some sort of stool that wont slip, is the right height, and one that will last. I am thinking of drilling holes in the tip of the pedals, then mounting some wood to it to work as a hanger that will grab on to the beam not letting the pedals move. Then I would put a stool under it for support. The pedals cant be on the ground, because then i wouldn't be able to reach them. Do you guys think it is a good idea to drill holes into the very end of the pedals? If not, do you have suggestions for how I should mount them?
