Hello, so recently I had some great ideas for new BeamNG mods. I even created some sort of cool lore for them in my mind but the problem is, I know nothing about making mods. but I would really like to learn how.
I recently attempted to start from a very simple mod and tried to add an option for a 2.0 Inline-4 swap from Ibishu BX series for the Ibishu Miramar. Assuming that it is a SR20 swap on a Nissan Skyline or a Datsun 510 or whatever Miramar is based on. But I was extremely confused with how complicated the process was and my mod didn't worked. I may understand 2% of the things related to J-Beam, but I don't know how to actually make the things work. Or for example, I don't have any ideas on how to determine what 3D file is used as the engine model and etc... Can someone just help me with the basics of creating a mod? Thank you very much.
