    Hi

As said in the title I can't change the default bindings, either on my wheel or my keyboard. I can create a new bind but it won't save, it looks like there's an issue with the setting file being not saved or maybe the ui but I don't know. When I press the "apply" button it doesn't save.

I followed the whole guide and it seems that I have no potential application blocking the BeamNG folder. I only have the Windows 10 integrated antivirus which caused no issues until I reinstalled the game (and then started having this issue) and nothing else.
I cleared cache, deleted the whole Beamng user folder, and no results.

Can you please double-check OneDrive, it's commonly enabled on Windows 10 and can cause this issue.

Could this process do something with my game?
    (pic uploaded below)
Otherwise there's no active task of OneDrive, I closed all potential programs including onedrive

I don't recall if there's an OneDrive tasks easy to find, since that's quite integrated into Windows itself.

You can simply check if OneDrive is active by checking where your Documents folder is.
Normally it should be in: C/Users/YourName/Documents
With OneDrive it goes into C/Users/YourName/OneDrive/Documents

The Documents folder is at the right place, seriously I have no clue what could it be as I shut off all instances of OneDrive partially interfering with my files. But still, doesn't work. I tried everything including a Steam reinstall and it changed nothing. Also consider the fact that it happened after a BeamNG reinstall

Your Support ID turned back an empty ZIP.
98% of the times this happens, it's because something is blocking the game.
So, as said in post #2 above, your issue is definitively caused by something blocking the game.

Unfortunately I cannot be more specific (aside from giving you that incompatible programs list), as I don't have direct access to your PC.
Please check any program that is running/installed on your PC, your issue is somewhere there.

While Windows Defender doesn't cause any sort of issue for the majority, on some rare cases it could prevent the game from accessing the default 'userfolder' location (Documents/BeamNG.drive).

That would cause things like your settings, mods and etc. not to be saved.

If you experience such issues, and are not caused by the other programs in this list, try checking with the "Controlled folder access" option turned off in Windows Defender."

I think I found the solution to my problem. Imma try that and I'll come back

EDIT: I activated the controlled folder access and I created an exception for BeamNG. It works now but as temporary, until I found why suddenly it doesn't work.
