Can't Change Vehicles*Fixed*

First off I do have Alpha. Second when I go to any map and hit the ctrl+w it brings up the menu where you can change the characteristics of the car. Then I hit load and it brings up the Documents folder where the cars are located(90% of the time I have to alt+tab out to get to it). After that I try to select a car for example the Hatch and when I do that I re-enter the game and it will still have the pick-up there. I am just trying to figure it out any help would be appreciated. Fixed I was using the wrong control.
