I had to reinstall Windows on my PC a little while ago which unfortunately made me format my hard drive, causing me to lose the 2 part mods I worked on that did work. Now I can't even find those parts in the parts selector on the respective vehicles. Can someone lend me some help please?

Did you back up those files? If not, they were deleted when you formatted your hard drive.

I have the files. I had other threads where I posted them for assistance and downloaded them. I just can't figure out where to put them to get them to work again. They worked before I had to reinstall Windows but they aren't showing up in the parts selector

Are you putting them in the mods folder like normal?

You should simply put them in the same place you previously did.
If they are just parts (.jbeam) files, in Documents/BeamNG.drive/vehicles/<vehiclename>
If it's a mod (.zip), like any other mod in Documents/BeamNG.drive/mods

I tried putting them in Documents/BeamNgDrive/vehicles but I had to make the vehicles folder and they still didn't show up. I tried putting them in the mods folder first and still nothing

Describe what files you have exactly?
    .jbeam files? A ZIP file?

2 jbeam files. Ones a differential, the others an 18 speed transmission

Then you need to insert them in the Documents/BeamNG.drive/vehicles/<VEHICLENAME>/ folder.
If they are using of existing parts, they would show up in the choice list of those.

There was no vehicles folder under documents. I made a vehicles folder and made separate folders inside for the vehicles the parts are for and it still didn't work. I think the game may have to make the folder for it to work properly

    Like this?

(replace ETKI with the actual internal name of the vehicle those parts are for)

    Not like that, I did it like so;
    Documents/BeamNG.Drive/vehicles/pickup
    And
    Documents/BeamNG.Drive/vehicles/semi
    Respectively

I figured it out. They were showing up as text documents, not jbeam files. I got them both working now. Thanks for the help though!
