I've replicated everything (only replaced 'midsize' with 'mycarname') to be exactly like on the 2000s Pessima, yet my car's lights are still blank white. Until I crash it, then broken light textures appear normally. Is there any trick to fix this?
Ok, I've remade everything to use Pessima materials and the taillights are still blank white. Wtf Why does the scheme that works perfectly fine for the Pessima doesn't work for my vehicle?
Need to see your glowmap definition, material name in Blender, materials.cs in relevant parts. Still it could be something overwriting your definitions.
Have you tested naming your parts mycar instead of pessima? I remember cases where had to rename part to something different as torque curve of engine was not being applied, vanilla part name overwrote my same named part. Haven't examined further though, takes little time. Update: { "mycar_trunk": { "information":{ "authors":"BeamNG", "name":"Mycar Trunk", //so that you know which one this is and not to get confused with Pessima part Here same: { "mycar_taillight": { "information":{ "authors":"BeamNG", "name":"Mycar Taillights", "value":100,
I guess that would of been too easy, without challenge this would be boring Need to do some testing, because I haven't done lights before.
I haven't done proper lights for new cars, too. Do your testing and let's see what happens, I'm out of ideas for now.
