Cant update to the prerace update.

I cant update to the prerace update, and i dont know why. plz help me!

 

Look in your downloads or your desktop for a folder called ''BeamNG.prerace-update'', and open it. Open the folder called ''alpha_prerace'' and double click on the file called ''BeamNG.drive''. This should start the program.

 

impossible to help because you didnt say what is wrong.


My car is broken. Can you tell me how fix it? The answer is of course no because I didnt tell you what is wrong with it (a small plastic panel in the front bumper has fallen out and I really can't be bothered to put it back in)

i uninstalled the previous version downloaded the pre race update but their is no exe. in the beamng folder or the prerace folder when i click the update.exe. it tells me i need a internet connection i have looked threw recent posts i have tried proxy settings the firewall my anti virus it has bin like this last 2-3 days im at a loss here and not to sure what i am doing if you guys can get back to me with any ideas or advise i would be very grateful and like i said im not sure what i am doing please be patient with this noob
