I got a car and I wanted to modify it because it wasn't realistic.
The car shows up in Blender, but when I edited the model in SketchUp (because I find it way easier) and made the model override the current .dae file, it went invisible.

I read other topics related to this, but they didn't help and I don't understand them.

I wouldn't use Sketchup for editing, it tends to mess things up.

My guess is that it changed the object names in the dae, this means the Jbeam doesn't know what to look for.

    Thanks.
I don't understand how to use anything else, not even blender...
What could I use for editing which is very simple and doesn't screw things up?

I was the same when I started modding BeamNG.drive, I only knew how to use Sketchup, I started learning how to use Blender and I picked it up pretty quick. You should try it. :)

I have tried it many times, and every time I couldn't even make a single line...

Then you haven't tried hard enough! I learned how to code after posting "anyone has a cop car script?" on Unity's forums. Only to do never-done-before things. Same could apply to Blender :)
