Before I start I'd like to apologize if I'm being a complete idiot or amateur, for I'm not exactly the smartest person.

So I'm having a problem with the vehicles in the game as they keep drifting every time I steer even the slightest bit. When the car drifts it makes black screech marks as if the brakes were on even though they're not. I've looked through pages and pages of options , controls , forums and more looking for help but I just can't seem to figure it out.

It looks like the tires are not grippy enough and the car has too much power, you need to be light on the throttle with that car.

You're driving a high powered car with narrow tires, and you're likely going full throttle so it spins out as the rear wheels are receiving more power than they can handle.

My recommendation is to turn on throttle assist and use a less powerful car. Also, learn to countersteer and control a drift, it can be very helpful :)

Uhm...try driving the Covet, keyboard driving with big horsepower vehicles does this.

Did you use a different car when it worked fine? It's a big difference between a base model covet and a 400hp barstow :p

well duuu. The car has too much power, its too light, and it has no traction control. The black marks are from the tires spinning.
