Carbon fiber

    What would be good node weight, friction and beam spring/damp/deform values for carbon fiber? Say, for a carbon fiber body panel.

    You canĀ“t currently accurately simulate carbon fiber, or at least Estama once said the physics engine "doesn't work very well for exotic materials like carbon fiber"...

    Just lower spring and damp to super low values, look up the weight of the real part you're trying to make, use that, then start adding spring and damping to where it isn't floppy anymore... Just bare in mind that you probably can't make it as rigid as it is in real life though...
