After many years playing this great game I wanted to do more things in career mode. I also used modded vehicles for a long time, but now there was the idea to also drive mod vehicles as a career vehicle. After I bought a mod vehicle in career, I got a "Fatal LUA Error", because the mod vehicle does not have the property "mileage". But this vehicle was added to my vehicle list. Returning to garage, checking the list: now the list can't be displayed because of "Fatal LUA Error".

What can I do to repair the career profile? Where (in which file) is the vehicle list stored?

What has to be checked when using mod vehicles, if they are compatible with career mode? Are there any new functions or data structures that need to be added?
Please help :) When deleting the career profile, all the progress would be lost... I also started BeamNG in Safe-Mode, but I can't load the career profile due to different user.

I would try to search for the vehicle name in the userfolder/gameplay path. Hope that helps a bit, Idk.

Meanwhile I found the directory where vehicles for career profile are stored:

    C:\Users\ <Username> \AppData\Local\BeamNG.drive\0.33\settings\cloud\saves\ <profileName> \autosave1

There can be more than one autosave directory, but in the subdirectory "career\vehicles\" are lying the files with ascending numbers as filenames.

Maybe the Fatal LUA Error has to do with mod car not having a working odometer? I try to test with other mod cars, and also one could try to copy the <profileName>-directory for backup and for testing.

tried to copy the career profile and loaded -> successful

This time I chose "Take a taxi" to get to mod vehicle and bought it. -> no Error

back in Garage, everything seems OK. I think the LUA Error appeared when entering the parts menu... The UI partially crashed. The Recovery menu still works, so after retrieving favorite vehicle, the UI was working again, so that I could exit career mode. It is a problem with this specific vehicle. But I don't know what exactly is wrong. I assume it could be related to the missing controller "analogOdometer"??

Today tested with another modvehicle. With the Gavril Scout everything works perfect

In Polonez Mod I changed the xxx_body.jbeam to add the "trunk_load" slot etc. But the config-file "info_xxx.json" did not contain the additional slot. So that may be the cause for the Fatal LUA Error. With reworked config there was no more LUA Error displayed.

I thought everything now OK, could load a cargo job into the mod car, but at the destination it did not show the "drop off" button. When looking in the cargo section, none of the boxes were filled, they all show "0/4" or "0/16?". I installed 4x M and 2x L Boxes. After returning to garage and abandoned the cargo job, none of the pickup area things showed up and also the desktop computer screens did not show up anymore :(

What has to be programmed that cargo boxes can be realized correctly for the game in career mode?

Is it a *.lua file or a *.jbeam file or what??
