If police would see us doing anything that triggers a chase and we'd run away with a real license plate, we'd still get a fine later on. We could remove license plates from our car but that would make police follow you/chase you if they are behind your car and "see" that you have no plate on. Or use fake plates, so if we get caught we get an even bigger fine, but if we run away then we get no fine. We could change our plate numbers legally for a certain price
