The idea is simple: Find and post pictures of cars that have never appeared in a racing game. Before you post check on the Internet Game Cars Database to be sure it wasnt in a game you may never heard of. Important is that it is a driveable car in the game. So no worries if the car is just a prop in a level of a FPS like COD or something like that. Bonuspoints for car models that never made it into a game but i think its also okay to be nerdy and post specific trims, bodylayouts or engineconfigurations that never appeared in a game but you need to be sure about it. Heres my first contribution Toyota Corolla E10 1991-1997 Have fun!
Even though its European cousin may have made (drivable) appearances in games, my first car was never in a video game... 2008-2009 Saturn Astra, 3-5 door hatchback in either the xe or xr trim. (Not my actual car, but same color and body BTW) Also neither the XL or XUV variants of the GMC Envoy made appearances in video games (albeit they were rather forgettable)
IGCD has a few listings for Cavaliers, but they're mostly newer, older, unplayable, or fake/unbranded. In general, I'd like to see a lot more cars in games that are fairly "normal" but still light and quick enough to be raceable - not the latest and greatest super/hyper/muscle/hot hatch cars, but also not over-beige crossovers that are obviously ready-made sleepers or trying too hard to be ordinary. For example (not necessarily suggesting these specific cars): Crouching commute turd, hidden rally car: Trying too hard:
The 1987 Pontiac Bonneville Only one game have this car in it and it is Beamng Drive. Oldsmobile Toronado there is only three games with this car in it Mafia Wars Gran Turismo 6 and Monster Truck Madness 2
I would say the Vector W8 The only game I have personally played with it in would be Gran Turismo 2 (granted the Gran Turismo Series in general makes finding cars that aren't in games rather difficult) According to that website it has been in... like... 8 or so games... but if you look at the pictures it is truly only in 2 other games... some russian one (which it looks great in) and some other game... the rest are people just guessing at fictional cars that (IMHO) are not Vectors.
the first gen dsm it was vastly forgotten about when fast and furious came out when in reality the 1g is one of the best versions of the dsm/eclipse since it is much better looking than the rest as well as having the strongest version of the 4G63T engine in earlier years and it is lighter than its succors making it an excellent track or even rally weapon considering how much is shared with the evo
Gran Turismo 2 is a good source of cars that have technically appeared in games, but just sort of dropped off the face of the earth after their appearance there. Anything made by Vector or Venturi for a start, but also the Lancia Delta Collezione, which just gets overshadowed by the Evoluzione everywhere. Also lots of concept cars (Plymouth PT Spyder, Dodge Copperhead, Ford GT90, Chrysler Newport, etc.) that just disappeared after that - out of the ones I mentioned, the GT90 probably got the most exposure as it was in NFS II before then and Ford Racing 3 afterwards, but still.)
my dad owns a '94 GSX and I kind of want one for myself if I can find one close to stock that is in decent shape
fh3, albeit it's the previous gen but it's still an escalade --- Post updated --- koenig competition, bolwell nagari
Don't forget NFS. It's the standard traffic car for decades. --- Post updated --- (oh wait, that's the G37)
The monster Kodiak hasn't been in a game that's not unplayable except for one game, as "Hookzilla." As in a official car. I see mods, but that doesn't count. This would work great for Forza Horizon tho, as this car has been made for off-roading.
