This issue has been present for quite a while in the game and i was wondering if there is any reason it wasn't fixed or noticed yet, e.g because of some game engine quirk

This takes away from the realism and disrupts the feeling

    Hi,

It looks like one of you mods is broken.
    Please follow these steps:

Open your Userfolder (https://documentation.beamng.com/support/userfolder/) (Launcher → Manage User Folder → Open in Explorer)
    - Navigate one level up and find the folder with the latest version of the game
    - Create a backup of this folder by renaming it, for example, `0.22 backup`
    - The game will create a new folder and then you'll be able to move your mods one by one until you find the broken one.

Please do not move all your mods at once, as you may miss the broken mod.

This is due to most games rendering engines. Rendering two translucent objects on top of each other requires complex algorithms that are often take too much CPU/GPU power compared to what they actually do. This bug was in Minecraft for some time, by the way.

While I can confirm that the team is aware of the issue internally, I'm afraid I can't give any ETA on when or if this could be addressed.
