Change vehicles in CAMPAIGNS?

Anyone know how to change vehicles in campaigns? I can do it in scenarios, but the car-switch option is not available in campaigns that I can find. I looked through various JSON files, but didn't see reference to the vehicles being used in each part of a campaign (ex: senseless destruction). I probably just missed it.

ive looked at this too, since the only option in settings lets you change stuff up only in scenarios.. Not sure you can change cars in campaign mode sadly..
would be good if it was a better version of the D series, or another vehicle

 

As of now, it is impossible to change vehicles during the "free-roam" part of "a rocky start" type scenarios. I've tried everything, it is currently not possible. However, in the missions themselves (the scenarios inside the campaign) changing a car is possible.
