Changing the default vehicle to something different?

I've just bought Drive and I'm wondering how I go about changing the default vehicle into the van, pickup or supercar etc?

I don't know if you can change the default vehicle that spawns. But you can always change what vehicle you're driving with Ctrl+E.

 

In a roundabout way that is what I wanted to know.

you chnage the vehicle you are currently driving you hit the keys control+e should bring up vehicle menu and you can pick from there

I've now given the game over to my teenage son who's not put it down in the last couple of hours as he seems to be getting on better with it than myself.

We (he) looks forward to future development of the game and is excited to see how it progresses.

 

Hey, thought I'd update this thread. It was the first thing that came up on Google for the topic.

To change your default vehicle, first go into freeroam and select your vehicle of choice from the normal vehicle selection menu. Customize it to your heart's content, and when you are ready, go to the "options" menu while still in freeroam. Navigate to the "Gameplay" section. In this menu, there is an option to set your default vehicle, which allows you to spawn into any freeroam event with your selected vehicle.

Sorry to bump the old thread, but again, this was the first place I looked, and it will be the same for others.

 

thought i would update this again now you need to go to the car spawner (ctrl+e) and the press overwrite default
