While waiting for the devs to help with my kart I have managed to make the most progress I have ever made with the engine, there is now an exhaust manifold, a radiator woth a fan and fan belt and other minor improvements, but the best bit is... Spoiler It doesn't look like trash!!!!!!!!!!!!! Whoo!
Engine should be done tomorrow or the day after, here it is now in it's current state. The engine is by no means photo-realistic or massively accurate, but it is the most detailed model I have ever done in my life.
Engine is finished, Kart jbeam is back working thanks to @Blijo and I have no reason to not be working on them, today is a good day!
The new chassis is going ok, it is not detailed by any means, but the shape is quite bizarre, due to this the front and rear bumpers need overhauling, not a big deal, but annoying. --- Post updated --- I am also accommodating for the new rear suspension, as it will be unlike any other suspension I have ever seen in beamng.
The go-kart chassis and engine spawns in-game, bu the suspension causes a fatal vehicle exception. I made a thread about this issue, but until I get an answer, does anyone know where to put the radius and wheel size code in the jbeam?
Kart tester will be up in a hour or so, it has no wheels but aside from that the chassis, engine, suspension, steering and fuel tank should be visible. --- Post updated --- t's not perfect, but here is the kart, minus the wheels and fuel tank.
Wheels added, 250cc engine added, suspension needs work, but then there will be the final test version! Is there anything else anyone can think of that I might need to add?
Can everyone please answer this honestly: Do you all still want this mod? I am not thinking of quitting necessarily but due to the fact that I appear to be the only one posting, I am unsure if anyone really wants this.
Yea! We need more cars from the 50's / 40's / 30's in the game because the only thing we have is really the Burnside and the Satsuma. Also keep up the good work!
Alrighty then, I'm sorry if that sounded like I would give up, there was just no-one posting anything so I thought people may have moved away from this mod. I have learnt that in the future this modding idea will be hit massively. I don't know when I will have to slow down/ stop all projects but I intend to get the go-kart and the firsty update of the cuatro done before that happens. If anyone wants to help in practically any aspect please PM me.
