Chase camera rotation

I'm fully aware that at some point this bug has been reported (that is, I'm very sure it has been), but I'm surprised at the fact that this bug still exists, the last 10 pages don't seem to have indicated anything, and I didn't see this issue on the common issues page. Regardless of whether this has been reported a lot or not, I'll still post this anyway.

In the chase camera, using an Xbox controller (and with the mouse if you move it the same way), if you move the right stick (default keybind, of course) between the bottom position (when the camera faces backwards) and the right position (when the camera rotates to the left side of the car), rather than rotating a normal 90 degrees, it instead decides to flip around 270 degrees. None of the other rotations do this, and why this is the case is anyone's guess. (I obviously can't provide an answer myself ) I'm guessing this is just down to how the camera is programmed, and that this wouldn't be that difficult to fix.
