Cherrier Vivace & Tograc

The front looks sort of like a 2020 Ford Focus.

 

I believe it to be a mix of a Peugeot 508 and a renault clio. But your thoughts are not wrong. They share many similarities!

 

Can't wait to torture the AWD and undercarriage, I wonder how body panels will fall off.

 

I like the overall design, as the front and rear has an aggressive sporty look that I happen to like.

Also seriously, give the devs a job as car designers because this looks stunning. If this existed in real life, I'd actually consider getting one.

 

Excellent point. I can see the similarities there too, especially with that small piece of the bumper that looks like it's partially covering the headlight. I think the reason I (maybe me in particular) thought of McLarens, is because of that overall "boomerang-esc" shape of the headlights I mentioned.

I agree with you. That is most likely where the devs actually got their inspiration from.

Why am i hyped for the 1.0 3cyl, The ONLY i3 car ( that has four wheels ) With crap torsion beam back end..

 

What type of custom variants do you think we'll see? I can definitely see a hillclimb and possibly rally configs, but I really want a street tuned one, they did one for every car but the Wendover and the SBRs, so I think they might do it again.

Sorry, German dev who just happened to live in Australia for a short while. Long enough to love the country and feel gutted about having to leave when the studio got shut down by the parent company in the great Studio Implosion Wave around 2011. But yes, Holdens are sweet to look at, fun to drive and their commercials are memorable. If I'd stayed longer I'd have gotten myself some form of performance ute.

Is the Cherrier brand replacement for Charmand, knowing that both are French?

 

First I3 engine ingame with official sounds will be neat.
I5 and i3 are cool as they run uncultivated.
I4 engines wil get surely the Covet i4 Sound somebody found out.

Each 3-4 months there is one big update, i see the update in march coming.

OT: I don't have too much to add that hasn't already been said, although I just wanna say how much I love the format of the Devblog for the Vivace, really hoping too see more like that in the future. They definitely motivate me to get back into learning blender and hopefully making some stuff for the game in the future

 

So we can't discuss the visuals of the car on its own discussion thread now?

It's not like people don't do this to real life cars either. People compare a new thing to something they are familiar with all the time.

No one is saying the car is not an original design. Just discussing comparisions to already familiar real world counterparts.
