With the rear mounted wing, were you thinking of something like this?

Huh? Is this not enough angle already as is?

Absolutely, just not as big as that mazda 787B classic.

It would be shorter in length of the car.

The picture from the first post was at an odd angle, so it looked a little shallow

Cool, I always loved the way the wings looked on the group c le mans cars

I might try to learn some 3d modeling and J-Beam to make a group c le mans type car based on the civetta bolide, sort of like the lamborghini countach qvx

It's not about the way it looks, but the way it works.

This is MY OPINION to you. Don't start a war, please.

Seriously ? The spoiler was not created for style , it's for aerodynamic necessity . It's not too tall . Also , the black stripe was the one of the best part about it .

Please revise, the end of that sentence has me confused..

    - - - Updated - - -

I just thought of something that people including myself might like.

What if I make two different performance classes.

Class 1 being the one that I currently have in screenshots in WIP

But than in the same mod there is a second config for a Class 2 racecar.

Class 2 will have lower bodywork, a bigger splitter, and a rear mounted wing like I was saying.

both will hopefully one day include a roll cage.

That Class 2 Idea sounds awesome, I vote yes
The problem with lowering the car would be that you would have to either add more skirts to the bottom of the car or open up the wheel arches to allow the tires more room

I am fully awere of this. but I am not the greatest at suspension and lowering suspension seems to be the hardest task for beam at times, so to avoid the handling issues I'll just revise the bodywork if suspension proves an issue.

Cool, and for the rims that other guy asked for, I just spent a few minutes making a simple design similar to that on the 787b, I know, I'm obsessed, but they would look really good on the bolide
