So I've been wondering lately, how will the bolide sound when it has its own sound files. I was imagining a flat crank sounding italian beast. Don't really want it to sound like an american v8.. Really awesome car though, i've been getting a lot of practice in handling the car on tracks and I'm realizing the potential this thing has. So would you prefer an american v8 or Italian flat crank v8?
Have you heard of the De Tomaso Pantera that was an Italian Supercar powered by a Detroit V8 engine...are you trying to replicate that sound...
Gabe was saying there will be multiple engines for the Civetta in the next update, it would be really cool if they each had a different sound. Off topic (sorta)- Has anyone played Asseto Corsa? The sounds in that game are amazing, I really hope BeamNG sounds that good one day! If you look at the sound files for the car's, they have separate oog's for each RPM range, gear changes, back fires, ect ect.
Stated many times though by the developers though, sound is currently at the bottom of the list which i'm fine with because they are focusing on far more important content. Would love to see quality sound effects for this game in the future. If you could assign collision sound effects to nodes and beams that would be brilliant.
